An object is fixed in front of a plane mirror, the mirror is moved with a speed v, what is the speed of the image?
    a) v
    b) less than v
    c) 2v
    d) none of above

nope, in the reader it is given as lesser than v though I am not sure whether it is correct or not. That's the reason I posted this question in the first place. Image would move in the same speed as that of the object, so v would be the appropriate answer.

ans in 2 v he is right ....it was there in the previous book ...just know this ......dont break your head for finding the reason

I don't usually break my head unnecessarily but u have to know that the object is fixed but the mirror is the only thing which moves. If the object wasn't stationary then it would have been 2v, tell me whether I am right or not.
