3X100000000 = (500/1000000000)Xfrequency Frequency = (3/500)X100000000000000000 = 6.0X100000000000000/s. Refractive Index of glass = speed of light in air(vaccum)/speed of light in glass. 1.5 = 3X100000000/speed of light in glass Speed of light in glass = 3X100000000/1.5 = 2.0 X 108 m/s
