Posted: Fri May 15, 2009 10:04 amWhen we switch on the button, the circuit completes and as a result the electrons pass from the battery or any other AC power source and on reaching the filament the electric energy is converted into heat energy which inturn heats up the tungsten filament which in turn makes the filament glow and light gets on.
