Physics...An object is fixed in front of a plane mirror, the mirror is moved with a speed v, what is the speed of the image?
b) less than v c) 2v d) none of above Regards,
bcappu
Re: Physics...
nope, in the reader it is given as lesser than v though I am not sure whether it is correct or not. That's the reason I posted this question in the first place. Image would move in the same speed as that of the object, so v would be the appropriate answer. Regards,
bcappu
Re: Physics...ans in 2 v he is right ....it was there in the previous book ...just know this ......dont break your head for finding the reason
Re: Physics...
cant explain u without a diagram but the ans is 2v
Re: Physics...
I don't usually break my head unnecessarily but u have to know that the object is fixed but the mirror is the only thing which moves. If the object wasn't stationary then it would have been 2v, tell me whether I am right or not. Regards,
bcappu
Re: Physics...listen u boys first of all iam a girl so stop writing "he" n next the ans 4 this Q comes by the theory relative velocity with respect to the mirror
Re: Physics...sorry ....it wasnt clear frm yur name ....dont worry we dont need to know the reason ....lets keep it as a axiom
