Std XI Changed Informatics Practices Syllabus

Postby shah_piyush » Fri Aug 28, 2009 9:50 pm

Hi, I'm a teacher at one of the CBSE schools in Maharashtra.

The new syllabus tells to teach Programming to the students using some IDE sypported language. The usage of Java is mentioned in Practical sessions only. Not in theory. THe book writtedn by Author Sumita Aroroa follows NETBEANS software for teaching, where as the book by Reeta Sahu says teach through Notepad of Blue J.
Which one to follow? And what kind of questoins will be there in exams? (Core Java or NETBEANS or something else?)

well in my school , we are no studying NETBEANS :?:
Instead we study Core Java.. using notepad/cmd.

also in Sumita Aroroa's book many extra unnecessary things are given. ;)

But NetBeans is to be followed as per CBSE's orientation programs. So, we are following the same.
